The Argie Cooper Public Library Board Meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm with the following exceptions:
*No meeting in August
*November & December meetings are combined; the meeting is held on the 1st Tuesday of December at 1:00 pm

We're Moving On Out!

Join us for our last storytime at our current location! We will have fun talking about our move to the New Library, plus we'll read stories and make a fun craft!
Also, Parents if you have photos of your children at storytime, summer reading or any other library activities over the years, please bring them to storytime. We will be doing a Memory Board to hang at our New Location when we open.
Shelbyville-Bedford County Public Library is seeking a
full-time youth services librarian.
Primary duties include planning, organizing, and directing the
activities of the Children’s Department, which serves patrons ranging in age
from pre-school to young adult.
Additional duties include bookmobile service and some work at the
library circulation desk. Work schedule may include evenings and
Saturdays. Minimum qualifications: High
school diploma and experience in children’s library service required. Salary:
$22,640/year with some benefits.
